The Final Round – Thanks Ladies
4 weeks ago these 9 talented ladies set out on a crafty journey called the Creative Champion Contest. Voting for just 1 project is NEVER easy to do. Each project has been amazing and packed full of fun & new ideas. This contest wouldn’t be anything without them. I’m so honored that they have allowed me to coordinate this event to unite crafters together.
Great Work Deserves A Reward
Thanks to all of you who have voted, because we are now down to our last 2 contestants. Lianep and Sammie really outdid themselves in this round. Both brought a strong Summer farmhouse style to the table. Using power tools and white paint, these two gifted ladies really shined in this final round. I know it’s going to be hard to pick just one, so thank you in advance.
Just like in Season 1, there is a reward for our contestants’ willingness to put themselves out there, work hard, and share their talents with all of you. The winner of our Season 2 contest will win a $500 cash prize AND the Creative Champion Trophy.

I’ve been watching Sammie for a few months now and am so impressed with her work and
personality. I’m actually a wood worker and think I’m the only guy in here, but I love everyone’s work.

I had such a hard time choosing. I finnally decided diy beauty on purpose design because I thought the house number Diy is one that I would do and/ or use
MIND BLOWN 🤯 EXCELLENT JOB BY BOTH! Sammie inched it out! Her creative genius knows no bounds! I want Lianep’s wood working skills LOL
All this is, is a popularity contest. It’s especially sad when contestants send out emails asking for votes instead of encouraging their followers to vote for who they think has the most creative projects.

I understand where you are coming from, but in this DIY circle, that us ladies enjoy, love & respect.. we try not to have any negativity. We come here to enjoy each other’s company, make new friends, learn new skills & techniques and, most of all, to relax and watch while someone will take something and make it beautiful.
So out of respect for Heidi, and our fellow DIYers, could you please leave the negativity at the door? We would still love for you to just hang out with us, relax & enjoy. ❤

Respectfully, I ask, who made you moderator of all DIY comments? I can’t tell you how incredibly rude your response is to Teresa. Teresa has every right to make her viewpoint known in the comments, which she did respectfully and politely. Her thoughts are JUST AS VALID as yours.
It’s funny, in a way, because you clearly tried to make your comment sound friendly and helpful. But what you were actually doing is socially bullying Teresa, soft-shaming her. Sorry, but I have to call you out on this. It’s wrong.
Also, this is the REAL world. There will always be someone with whom you are going to disagree. To expect everyone to conform to your wishes and desires is a little on the evil queen / narcissistic side of a personality disorder, a place we must avoid at all costs for the sake of others.

I truly love both competitors work. Sammy’s is very original with the bedpost. .her Around was amazing. However I always feel that VIP always does her own work. She starts her work from scratch and she finishes as her work from scratch. Makes it herself top to bottom. Not just adds on to create a piece.
